Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen, with production helmed by StarGate. As a mid-tempo ballad, "We Ride" is a hip hop and soul music song. "We Ride" is written in the key of E♭ major and is set in common time with a moderate dance groove with 80 beats per minute (BPM).
