Sarah Ann McLachlan (born January 28, 1968) is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter. Known for her emotional ballads and mezzo-soprano vocal range, as of 2009, she has sold over 40 million albums worldwide. McLachlan's best-selling album to date is Surfacing, for which she won two Grammy Awards (out of four nominations) and four Juno Awards. In addition to her personal artistic efforts, she founded the Lilith Fair tour, which showcased female musicians. How To Read Sheet Music Learning how to read sheet music is essential for anyone who wants to learn to play an instrument. Learning the different clefs is the first step that will help you to read and understand piano sheet music. The treble clef is the first one, the top clef. The notes of the treble clef are the notes of the upper 44 keys on the piano. On the treble clef, the line notes are E, G, B, D, F (starting at the bottom of the clef). The notes laying in the spaces are F, A, C, E (from the bottom). The easiest way to temeber those notes are by using a menmonic.
