It was written by Brian Higgins, Stuart McLennen, Paul Barry, Steven Torch, Matthew Gray, and Timothy Powell and produced by Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling. It has since become one of the best-selling singles of all time, having sold 11 million copies worldwide. It won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 42nd Grammy Awards and also received a nomination for Record of the Year.
